About Christina

My interest in therapy started after taking a psychology course in high school. Reflecting back on my teen years I recognized the disconnect for this population; feeling too self-conscious to share certain aspects of their lives with friends and a lack of comfort sharing with their elders. Throughout my career in the mental health field I have identified a similar experience for adults.

I strive to offer clients a safe, nonjudgemental, and empathetic space. It is important for me to meet clients where they are, while also offering direct communication and incorporating humor.

I believe every individual has the capacity for growth and change. My goal is to provide a supportive environment for clients to explore their inner selves and overcome personal challenges.

Experience and Approach

My experience includes community mental health, residential and outpatient programs, and private practice, where I have provided case management, therapy, facilitated psycho-education groups, and conducted bio-psychosocial assessments.

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based, with a strong emphasis on building a trusting and secure therapeutic relationship.

Areas of Interest and Expertise

I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults. My areas of specialty include working with those navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, family conflict, boundary setting, and life transitions.
